    In real life it's quite pretty.

    It's lower than you imagine and not as 'dumpy' looking.

    Course, being French, it then has the craziest hinge arrangement on the doors which they didnt' get quite right first time out

    Yeah, I'm a fan of Renaults concept cars, but they never look pretty, if you will, but they always look cool and fun to own.

    I dont know why people hate this car. I just love it for it's boldness, and am happy that there are still companies like Renault who dare to do smething diffrent instead of trying constantly to win reliability surveys.

    It was Matra who designed and built it.
    Renault killed it off with large incentives on the Vel Satis which were sold to the same market segment.
