My brother got nocked back on his car a 2004 XR6 cause he didnt have $2,000 cash he only had a $7000 car as deposit and $1,100 P/W job, Last week they called him up and asked him to come buy another car, He's answer was short and sweet

Yup and unless i misunderstood thats just a narmal xr6...even a usde id dread to pay for an xr6t unless i won powerball....then i think ill start simple a series 8 rx7

Well im sure Bluey knows what he's doing, theres plenty of other people out there under 20 who own XR6T's through a lease company

As my brother saif to me there are guys at his work that earn $1000+ p/w and drive new XR6T and XR8 SS SV8 GT's R8's As there first cars, He says his Ghia looks old next to some of them now

The Ghia would give some of them a run for their money though, especially with the motor its got and you reckon its sorted itself out now after the 5 speed went in and he just decided to plant it one day...

The other day he washed it and let it loose, Sideways in first then banged it in second sieways again, It's sounds heaps differnt now, And he wants a new exhaust for it now,
But when he starts it it's sick as a dog he said, So he showed me and he was right takes 5-10sec to come good like it's flooded with petrol?? And it's sick

Im leasing through my workplace... that ACT government so im sure im not going to be ripped off. the payments are esitimates at between 400 - 450 a fortnight with a 5k balloon on the end for a XR6T. not that expensive really.

Oh and i picked up a nice little treat at the nats today. A 4 point harness from Sparco...

not 300 dollars... not 200 dollars... not 150 dollars!!! that right only 140 dollars delivered to my door! its red too

Hey Slick it almost sounds like his fuel pump isnt working properly or something ???? As for the exhaust if he wants single, go for about a 3-3.5 inch and if its duals, go about 2.25 -2.5 inch

Yeah i told him about the twin something differnt, He said he might get it from the muffler back twin out to the rear, And get some GTS like twin in one tip, He has a VT V6 Supercharged tip on it now lol

That'd be a cat-back then, theyre pretty good if you just want the better sound cause most of the power's made from the extractors. The big thing to watch out for is if he canges cats though, thats when the issues over if it still passes ADR's for emissions come in

I herd there is some that say cats dont make good HP some really dont like them, What do you think?

ACT Goverment Not ripping you off...i hope your not kidding that one oft he most absurd things ive ever heard! Theyd be one fo the first people to rip you off....have you read the fine print? ive gotten mates out of a 90% intrest rate should they fail to pay!thats right 90% and this was through a goverment agency....

But the Harness doesnt sound liek a bad buy rember cheak with your local CAMS authority to make shure its installed properly (a very sore point with racers)

Its probably the most restrictive part of the exhaust, but its something you cant get rid of unlike the centre muffler which spastik would know all about now

Most people will say that replacing the cat is pointless as the factory ones are about as free flowing as you can get, but you can still get ones with larger mouth's etc for when you increase the exhaust diameter, as well as replacing the conventional honeycomb construction ones for the woven type

I have herd about the cat being closer to the headers for better light up is that one way to kill off as much of there restriction as you can ?
