Guinness World Records 2005!

last night i picked up the Guinness Book Of World Records for 2005. it was a 50th anniversary Edition in golden colour. on page 130 was the page on cars. i read thru most of the records & found a few interesting ones like:

World's Fastest Car:
McLaren F1 topspeed of 386.56 km/hr [241 mph]
in the previous year's issue the Koenigsegg CC-8S has the Record

World's Most Expensive Car:
Mercedes CLK/LM [$1,500,000+]
there's only one here in the UAE & ive seen pics of the roadster for sale in magazines.

World's Fastest Pick-up truck:
Dodge Ram SRT-10

World's Most Powerful Production Car:
FERRARI ENZO!! 660HP, topspeed of 349 km/hr [217 mph]
i bet Werty is goona hit the cieling when he reads this.

the dodge ram srt-10 is so damn fast because they took the exact same engine in the viper srt-10 and put it in there

the Vector "Avtech" WX-3 would have 2 of those records (260 MPH TS turbocharged) if it would of gone into production

come on Karrmann, based on Vector's other efforts, it woudl have had major aero problems, it woudl have been overwiehgt and it would NOT have delivered the promised power.

Why woudl it be different ?

I think that the vector is one of the most unreliable cars ever.. I heard stories on one showing up to the 2004 players run and overheating after revving for a lilbit then driving like 5 blocks in traffic...
