Post CLS joins the MB familia!

You propably remember the Mercedes CLS concept shown earlier on Frankfurt motor show. A lot of people thought it would be a nightmare to have a 4 door coupe cruising around. But it sounds like the number of admirers & lovers of this concept outweighed the number of critics to the extent that MB has finally decided to put this beauty into production line making it the first 4dr coupe ever made.
This decision will definitly open other manufacturers appetite to have a piece of MB's cake especially if it gets the success its company is aiming to have.

Airmatic DC pneumatic suspension, seven-speed automatic transmission, Sensotronic brake control, bi-xenon active headlights with see-round-corners function and latest-generation climate control, as well as the very latest in safety technology will definietly ease its mission to get through global markets.
But the main question remains:With the CLS being around will cars like the CLK(coupe),Cl,...etc still get the same glory they had in the good old days?

It fitted between CL and E Class
and 2 engines:
1)302 bhp V8 (CLS500)

2)a 224 bhp V6 (CLS320) like the E-series has(this is a guess)
And an AMG model ,may be CLS55 AMG

Most likely it will be a diesel 265 bhp V6 CDI unit with twin turbo chargers making the vehicle capable of hitting 100 Kmh in 6.3 secs which is a figure achieved by bigger V8s.

Thumbs up

The CLS is a cool design. I heard Mercedes-Benz is going to redesign the S class soon, so I expect the S to look like a bigger version of the CLS for some reason.
Hope they make a CLS 600(V 12 version), but MB only makes 600 models out of only their most elite cars, such as CL, S, and SL.
