UCP Supercar usage poll
what is the #1 purpous this car should serve.
if other please post what. this is only for the purpouse to help aid in figuring the more specific aspects of the car. this is a multiple selection poll. select only one or 2 of the most important rolls for the car. NO MORE THAN 2 per person. High speed tourer. decent power, cushy suspention, aerodynamic, mabe a little on the heavy side Road ready track car. bare minimum of creature comforts, not nessesarily a powerhouse but enough to get it around a track in a timely fashion, and its weight is very low. Paper racer. looks good on paper, makes lots of power but and has all the high tech goodies but in real life it doesnt deliver Dyno Queen. along the same lines as a paper racer, but delivers good strait line performance. makes astronomical amounts of power but it is such that it can only be taken advantage of on a dyno with weights in the back and 4 people jumping up and down over the drive tires or at teh strip with a nice set of slicks.Middle weight sports car. ot heavy but not light, and not to terribly small but produces sufficent power to move it down the road at a decent pace. probly would make the best road car next to the high speed tourer but would be lighter and perform better on track.

i'ld be all for a car like the saleen s7 i believe it's called. It is supposed to be so areodynamic, that it can actually drive on the roof of a tunnel................hotwheels of turborides........

theoretically speaking we dont have the funds to develop an aerodynamics package that could achieve that with a fairly reasonable kerb weight.

I think it should be street legal, but ready to go fast around a track. I also like the idea of it being one of those light and middle horsepower cars, like a lotus. (maybe 250-400hp?)

I kind of like the road ready trackday car BUT is 'convertible' to remove extra weight when looking for serious track action. kind of like the Deronda in reverse

i think a lotus elise kindof style is what we should go for... anorexic curb weight with enough power to motivate it quickly when we want it to.

I would say something that's just a solid all-arounder...doesn't have to be great at any one thing, but should be good at everything: track handling, straight-line acceleration blasts, comfort, quality, and practicality.

My idea is a slightly longer, meatier version of a Lotus Elise.

I reckon it should be like a TVR. Light and track ready but a cool and comfortable interior.
