Group N vs Open vs WRC

im not sure if group a still exists so i left it out, and group b is non existent so eliminate that, there are a couple of classes similar to group b in power and stuff but i cant remember the names matra can prolly add em on

i was just wondering which of these are the "fastest" group

the regulations and rules for each class are like 10 pages long so i didnt bother reading them, im guessing wrc would allow the most modifications and would perform better (the manufacturers own the teams ? or do they contract another company to do it ? or their own subsidiary ? so confusing) and i read an article comparing open and group n class vehicles, open class cars allow more modifications but are harder to drive and less forgiving, requiring constant attention and if the driver wasn't skilled or drove and i quote like a wuss a group n car would demolish them

In SCCA rally (in America):
• FIA Group N:
Very similar in basic concept to the SCCA Production and Production GT classes, these very competitive cars must follow the globally recognized rules format specified by the FIA. There are four classes within Group N, which allow this category's formula to accommodate a wide variety of vehicles.

• Open Class:
This very broad class that allows for a tremendous amount of technical innovation. As with all SCCA specification performance rally classes, the cars must retain their production based appearance, but under-the-hood, virtually anything goes, and all-wheel-drive is absolutely essential.

• Almost anything goes in WRC. See open class but the car doesn't have to look the same as production.

So, roughly in terms of how good each class is: WRC>Open Class>Group N.
