Yea, pretty much that's the truth [by that i mean they only made about 1000 t-birds with v6's], and thanks jake for telling me you think 650 is a bit much, who else can i ask besides the guy who gave me the price quote?

Old wives tale #7698 - Cat converters suck power. Thats a load of crap. Ever seen inside one? You can just about see through it, its just a honeycomb. Over here in Oz if you remove the Cat and get caught you get a defect slip and a pretty good fine as well. For all the suckers who think they lose power, most exhaust companies make Hi-flow cat converters as well. Incidentally, if you wanted to, you could choose to keep the cat, but bash out the guts of it with a broom handle, basically turning it into an expansion chamber. But either way the difference is so small that its not even worth doing that. I hope V6 engines over there dont sound as gay as the Buick derived v6 over here in our commodore... a set of pipes on one of those sounds horrible.

If your car was built with one, it's $10,000 IIRC, I think that was what Bluey posted up once.

agreed Cat's barely make a difference on a dyno on street (gasolene) cars. If anything keep only the cat and run pipes to the back of the car with no mufflers.

I have the magnaflow too and love it, they are cheaper on ebay but I wanted a warranty(salt in winter kills an exhaust) so I got it here. magnaflow 15892, or you can try one of the vendors here, they are always running sales/specials. either way its a great system and very easy to install.

which of these have a nice deep rumble? A loud rumble as well. Which one doesn't resonate that much? Any performance gains better than one another? Which magnaflow is recommended for the 06 MDS HEMI? Which size magnaflow are you guys running on Hemi's?
Thanks
