I had the same thing happen on my Clio. Turned out that my rims were bent caused by driving with tyres that didn't have enough pressure on them (thanks previous owner !). I had them rectified and away went the wobly sound.

Check that the tyres aren't rubbing on the plastic inner guards....they may have detached causing them to drop and rub on the tyres. Also, check for anything else in the wheel well which may be rubbing. Have the rims/tyres been changed recently....they may be rubbing on the struts or inner guards if they are the wrong width/diameter.
