Kinda off topic.. but How bad is it to say.. pop the "clutch" in an automatic.. technically there is no clutch.. but you still can rev up in N and slam it into drive to burn out.. yes? but if you do.. how bad exacally is it for an auto tranny, in a manual its not all that bad inless you do it all the time.. i know that.. (( newb question i know.. haha ))

i hate auto's.
i mean it is kinda cool at the launch pad but the torque conveter takes it's
toll after some time. youget tired of being beaten by beaten up civics at the top end.

Hmm.. So how long or how much does it take to wear down the torque converter? lol... and yea.. i hate autos also.. but when you dad drops a Mustang Gt on you for your 18th you dont cry when its auto hehe.. but i can shift manually through all 5 gears as well.. its kinda weird though not use 2 it

I believe it's better to power brake(holding the brake down and hitting the gas at the same time) than to rev up in neutral and drop it into drive if you want to do a burnout.

Neutral dropping a slushbox is the quickest way to kill it. Power braking FTW.
