Damned impressive.
The cage loks a bit big for car use. WOnder if it can be reduced in size.
VERY interested to see it, woudl be superb in a race car
Ideal for replaceing Lotus Europa's and early single seater troublesome drive shafts

Go the Aussies -- again !!!!

I'm annoyed this didn't win the New Inventors Invention of the year - some conehead thing? come now.

This is the wave of the future, although it does not bode well for understeering cars

Certainly interesting.

But you still need two of these per halfshaft...

are you suggesting that solid axle is best ?
Makes steering a FWD hard

Of course, by removing 2 cv joints then you double the reductino in losses !

That conehead thing is going to save riders from helmets are built only to pass a test, not stop your brain squishing against the inside of your skull.

As for this, I have no idea about CV joints so I'm staying out of it, but if you lot thing it's good, then go Aussie.

The big issue the panel had w/ the conehead was that the angle of the cones was set in stone a long time ago - while he's done a lot of research into it it might pay to sort of vary the cone depending on the application.

I've no doubt it could save lives - I just think it's a little more specialised to create a liner than to create a whole linkage system.

Who knows - Stackhats might just end up being safer
