Oscillating Piston Engine

A new toroidal engine (toroidal engines were first seen in 1968).

Pretty novel concept I think - I don't really understand it yet.

That is the angle labs MYT engine...

Angel Labs :: Home

The claims are absurd unfortunately.

It is going to have massive sealing issues as well as cooling issues...

Not to mention the reliability of the complicated crank/syncronising system is debatable...

He expects people to believe that this engine will survive as being air cooled while producing 850HP NA and up to 3000HP with FI...

Well Rotoblock's patent rights precede Morgano's published patent
But it's been awfully quiet on the technical front

I have to share this quote from the website:

Quote:
The MYT™ (Massive Yet Tiny) Engine, is a breakthrough of immense
proportions that will spawn the next industrial revolution and will rocket the internal
combustion engine into the next millennium. Please spread the word.
Spawn the next industrial revolution? That is highly comical.

If I ain't mistaking some of my studying mates will be working on an engine of this kind for the Open Source Green Vehicle. I could be mistaken a little though, didnt read all the documents yet (40 degree fever)..

Is the rotoblock engine the same as the MYT engine? They look the same but have different websites. Rotoblock doesn't mention MYT on their website. I watched the video of it run...What's the sparks coming from and the opposed spark plugs, coils and modules spinning at crank speed? Try hooking a tune scope to the spark plug lead. Is that a big three phase motor cranking it at the lower right with the huge belt? One more question: What is the guy doing on the right and when he pulls his hand away, what's the paper for in his hand for? Maybe a manual choke?
