apparently using aircon is more efficient than having your windows open, aerodynamics or something

'68 Mustang, 302 V8, C4 automatic, 2.73 rear end:
About 16mpg average on normal driving, 4mpg when I get pissed off. 1mpg at WOT. Takes 87 octane.

'73 Mustang Mach 1, 351 Cobra Jet, Tremec TKO 5-speed, 3.50 rear end:
about 13mpg average on normal driving with the occasional acceleration blast. Only runs right on the Unocal 91 octane and some octane booster (wish we got the 93 octane here in Cali)

'67 Mustang Convertible, 302 V8, C4 auto, 3.00 rear end:
about 12-14 normal driving. Takes 91 octane.

'82 Datsun 280ZX, 2.8l I6, 3-speed auto:
about 20 normal driving, takes 87 octane

'04 Toyota Sienna AWD, 3.3l V6, 5-speed auto:
about 17 normal driving, takes 87 octane I think.

Nah it's not that bad. I was only driving about 5k miles a year, so it didn't hurt too badly.

Nice car; A4? S4?

I havn't been driving my junker 1992 Cavalier (this is a Chevrolet compact car for you non-Americans.. In America, are compact cars are typically "cheap"...a 1995 Cavalier--last year before replacement--basically sits on the same chassis as a 1984 Cavalier), nor did I keep track of gas mileage.

I've been driving my 3.2liter V6 1995 Acura Legend. It's got a kick, and I take the freeway to work. I've been calculating 23mpg. Not to bad I guess? I drive easy when there is traffic; no sense in accelerating fairly harsh to only run up to the next red light. At night, I typically get off work around 11PM, I do go a bit fast. I'm still fair on the accelerator.
