New prius story

As you may know, my family drive a Prius. Recently we ate out at a very nice London restaurant. This place had valet parking and the moment the kid parking cars saw our car, he said "This is my favourite car inthe lot at the moment. quietest ever, isn't it?". Other cars there included:
Bentley Conti GT
TVR Tuscan 2 (brand new)
Daimler Super V8
Merc S600

And yet our Prius stood out.
It's also hugely roomy in the back seat (except the headroom if you lean back, which is, well, Japanese...) and has quite a bit of in-town punch, surfing on 300+ lbft of torque, 2/3 of which comes at 0 rpm.

gotta love electric motors!
is it the second generation?
the prius is def the best overall hybrid but i still like the insight, looks cool and after five years its still the most efficient.

Yeah, well the same guy doesn't know the difference between an apple and a tomatoe so I wouldn't pay too much attention to what he says.

Some people...sheesh.

Nothing rocks about the Prius, it is the complete opposite of a rocking car.

The only thing good about the Prius is its coherence as a design. Everything fits well in relation to the other part. The only problem is.....it's butt ugly-so what good is a coherent, ugly car?

that's true, that's because of the electric motor, electric motors have 2 main standouts, low maitnence, and heavy torque, so unless you're next to a Murchiealago, you will be the first off of any stoplight.

yep, then the gas motor kicks in but the extra torque comes in very handy when passing.
