It's green, it's ugly, it's mine :)

Few weeks ago I was hit by sudden loss of rational thinking and I finally bought myself an Italian car. And a green one?

This is 1997 Fiat Coupe, 20v normally aspirated inline-5 with 108 kW.
Frontwheel drive of course (remember, technically she is Fiat Tipo meets Fiat Bravo). Engine noise is just fantastic after 3500 rpm.

Well, somehow I'm sure its gonna be a love/hate relationship....

Cheers!

I've always liked it because of the shape but the fact that it's too short makes me utterly hate it. A little more length would've done it perfect but oh welll...

...have fun with the car mate

I think the interior looks really nice, I like the combination of the white and green.

Not really ugly at all. I find it very cool and I like the color. Personally I don't really love this model but I think the last of the real interesting Fiats. A future classic for sure.

Thanks to everyone for warm replies

Well, I have to admit I completely fell in love with that color combo: dark green+tan leather.

Not too keen about exterior looks, it lacks....uhmm.....how would I put it....elegance?.....panache?
Then again, at least it provokes a reaction. There are too many sterile cars around.

Anway, who cares? No me, I'll be sitting in a absolutely fabulous interior and enjoying the drive.

I agrre with everyone, it is a cool car, and I also love the sound of these things. Most of the people who will critise it are people who don't have a car. Green with envy, like the colour.

for some reason the front of the car looks so kool, maybe cause it looks like an aston martin?(somewhat), a bit longer and it'd be an all around kool car.

nice car, i like that greenish look.
(whats the engine size btw? i know its an I5 with 4 valves per cylinder, but in liters whats the number?)

It is a car with a lot of character in its design. And your most certainly right about the engine note.

That's a really nice car, not the best colour, but it's a very good car. Watch out for the door handles- they have a tendency to fall off.

And keep your eyes peeled for a 20v Turbo!
