1996 Pontiac Bonneville SE 3.2L V6

So, with me being the cheap scum I am, I was slowly searching for a set of wheels, considering I've had my license for a few months and had to use my mom's Santa Fe or my dad's Merc. 300 sparingly.

But then, out of the blue, my dad comes home with a joint in his mouth and heroine needles hanging from his thighs with some good news. He tells me to go on the computer, and show him what a 1996 Pontiac Bonneville looks like in white, so I google it up, take a shot of the heroine, and then he asks, "Would you want that car for free?" I answered with a meager, "sure." I was thinking this car would be an aging, beat up, tank-like sedan.. and expected the worst, considering my Dad's friend Mike knew a lady who was giving it away.

Well, when Judgement Day came yesterday, me and my dad drove 45 minutes to the guy's place in NJ, and met the owner of the 'Beast.' Talked to him for 15 minutes, and then he went inside and handed me the keys. This is where it gets interesting.. the car must be the creme de la creme of the Bonneville line (not too fancy a line of sedans, but bare with me). The interior is black, with bucket seats lined with perferated leather, sporting a 12-disc Pioneer Sound System, Power everything, etc. So at this point I'm like, "BRE! This car isn't half bad, considering it's free.."

So, with the interior all checked out and tested for STD's (you never know), I pop the hood-latch, and after a minute of figuring out where the god damn release was, take a look at the engine. To my surprise, this family sedan was fitted with a Pontiac 3800 Series II engine, or simply, a Supercharged V6 with 240 horsepower and 280 ft.lb's of torque, not a bad deal at all.

In conclusion, the car's great, runs well, and has a good bit of wheelspin when I depress the throttle. That's my story, so now you can GTFO.

Pictures will come later.

Wow, a free car. Congrats! Being Gen II doesn't automatically make it the supercharged model. However, I'm sure you can see the S/C sitting in the engine bay. Post some pics, don't need to remind you to prove ownership.

What was all the pot and needles talk, I didn't get it? funny?
