My 205 GTI

Hi there!

My first post here, and I think this is the most adequate section to introduce myself...

My name is Alexandre, I'm from Portugal, and I was introduced to this excelent forum by my also excelent friend McReis.
I've always been into cars, ever since I remember anything about my life. I like 70's and 80's machinery, mainly with sports and racing pedigree...

I own a 205 GTi, which provides big smiles in my face when I'm around the track or some nice twisty narrow roads..

I bought the car in Oct 2004 and I've been trying to put it my way since then..

A major cleaning took place last summer..

New tissues on the seats and new leather on the steering wheel...

Lowered with Eibach pro-kit...

http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a8/...I/IMG_3478.jpg

Its last apearance at a local trackday, lift-off oversteer, yummie!!

Hope you've enjoyed the pictures...

Regards
Alexandre

Hello. Welcome to UCP.

You'll love this place, I'm sure.

And that's a nice 205, I love the seats.

Enjoy!

Stunning car. Excellent stuff. Could you please keep the inline posted images under 800 pixels wide. All of your shots were fine except one, I removed the image tags around. We would prefer if you would use the image attachment system, which will ensure the images will be visible in the future.

Thanks Wouter!

I've just noticed that after I post the thread, and I was going to put it right, but you were quicker than me!

BTW, your avatar gives me the creeps! Best race ever...

Regards
Alexandre

Hey man, welcome to UCP! Hope you stick around!

I must say you have a great ride. You did a great job on the interior! You have very much luck to own one of the coolest Peugeot's ever.

Have fun @ the forums!

It's nice to have another "partner in crime" around. Have I told you guys that portuguese people will command this forums?

Oversteer is a great partner to go and watch races with. His only downside is being a total 205 addicted.

He's a flamboyant driver as you can see by the photo I took of him. What I haven't shown is a sequence made some 2 laps later. But I'll keep those stored for a moment when he behaves badly.

Bem-vindo Alexandre!

Welcome! Nice interior treatment, very 80s.

How did you induce that drift in a FWD car?
