Funny, since those are the exact reasons I like them.

3/4 of a ton is 750 kg as Spastik said.

Further confirms the conveniency of the metric system.

Agreed, they pretty much rock. I wouldn't mind a large truck, but i got stuck with a Chevy Blazer. Not bad, its fairly loud, and lifted 4 inches. 30 inch tires also. Mudding for me.

The actual load capacity isn't 3/4 of a ton, it's a naming system left over from early trucks. This is a 1/2 ton Heavy Duty btw, so it's meant to carry a little more than a regular 1/2 ton truck.
I'm not sure how long I'm gonna keep the truck so I haven't changed anything yet, although Whipple has some pretty attractive supercharger packages (your mileage may vary).

Yes its a 1994 Blazer S10. I will post pics when it gets out of the shop. I'm getting all disc brakes ( i believe ), the 4WD switch on the transfer case is getting worked on, new plugs, wires, and a tunning. We bought it for 1300 US dollars. And it is really nice. In the 1990's, the Blazer was the second biggest chevy car. It was the Suburban, Blazer full size, then the Blazer S10, which is like the blazer now. 4 door, 5 passenger, you know. lol
