well, i did hit at over 35 mph... so maybe it should have gone off, but the hitch did hit at a really solid point. the spot where the eye bolt screws in was pushed in about 5 inches.

I have been away for a few weeks, travelling to Florida and New York City for various Fleet Weeks, and I haven't had time to update. I got my car back several weeks ago. Not perfect, they hadnt replaced the windshield or put the bonnet stripes back on, but those were handled in the few days after i got the car back. All of the repairs seem to be excellent, and the workmanship is some of the best I had seen. Unfortunately the company that did it has some seious customer service issues. All in all it was a few days shy of 9 weeks to repair. That is rediculously long but there were several parts that there were none of through the entire USA. So I guess it could have been worse, but it is good to have it back, and it drives as good as new.
