My Volkswagen Vanagon(Subaru Powered)

It is a 1984 Volkswagen Vanagon with a Subaru 2.2 conversion. It also has Mercedes 16'' rims with performance tires and aftermarket suspension. With a swapped-in Subaru 2.2, makes it much more torquey.

I am currently making payments on it, and I should have it by mid February. I'm 16, so this is my daily driver van.

Stuff:
Subaru 2.2 motor swap done about a year ago
new HD clutch
new wheels and tires from a Mercedes Benz 420 16" with 225/60/16 tires on them, corners better("Almost") than my friend's Audi with:
CIP springs and new KYB shocks

other new parts:
new timing belt and water pump, done when the motor swap was done
new bearings
brake rotors and pads in the front new pads in the rear,
new axles
synthetic tranny fluid,
slave cylinder for the clutch
brake fluid flush done
new thermostat

Pictures: (First one by previous owner, rims not currently on, due to Winter)

Something like 130 horsepower for the Subaru EJ22. A stock 2.1 Volkswagen Vanagon motor had around 90.

Pretty cool. Write 'Bubs' on a piece of paper w/ today'd date, stab it over the shifter and then take a picture. That's our little proof of ownership. (Called the Egg Nog test)

Sometime when I get around to it I will do that, just because.

Same type of thing at another forum I visit, only you need to put a loaf of bread and a jug of milk on your hood with a paper with "IDW" written on it. Except...my van doesn't really have a hood to speak of.

That sounds pretty good as a test too, but then the loaf of bread and gallon of milk make it tougher to do, especially if you live in East Bumblef**k.

Whenever you get the chance though dude. Sounds like an awesome ride.

The MB wheels + tires make it look badass and much cooler. Its different, but in a good way.
