opel blitz 1969 restoration object nr2

bought it from an old guy i know, who was tired of it standing aroud in his backyard, he and his son restored it almost completely, exept bodywork, so brake system and most electronics were new. then it got flooded to the half of the engine (around 80cm) by a nearby river that stepped out for 3 days...
then it got abandoned and stood there for 5 years until i came around.
he sold it to me for 3000kr (about 350 euro) the only major problem is the engine that needs to be changed and the whole brake system needs a major overhaul.

1969 opel blitz
2.5 inline 6
80hp

wow looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you..good to see that ur mechanically inclined..hope you get to finish them up.. I think you may have bitten off more then you can chew though, i mean the fiat itself is a monster of a job. It needs a front body, paint and interior seats at least, and the other cars need a lot more..i do hope they all pull through and great collection but you might consider moderation...

Good luck with them.

at least you have rides man, I'm 18 and using my parents' 4Runner. I'm planning on getting an old motorcycle for the summer though. Gas prices are insane and the 4Runner costs around $65CAD to fill and I can't afford that everytime.

Somewhere in South America
I'd say the claimed weight on the Fiat is a little optimistic, and I dunno about the hp claim, but even if it wasn't as light or as powerful it must be fun. I've seen Fiat Uno cups from Brasil and Argentina and they sure are fun.
