My new C5

Although still running pretty will the old faithfull UCP mobile had to be changed and yesterday I took delivery of a 4 year old C5 2.2 HDi Exclusive, manual box with only just over 90,000 km on the odometer (compared to the 275000 of the 6 year old Xantia). Current power is 136 BHP, but that is going to change soon...Only setback so far, the previous owner was a smoker, which is still rather noticable in the (all leather) interior...

Here are the first pics

Wow, nice ride... A friend of ours has one for over 3 years now and he's very satisfied about it. One of the better looking stations. (Behind our Renault Megane Grand Tour )

you can see my wife sitting in the front seat. I put the net there to prevent her from being thrown into the luggage compartment under fierce accelaration

The cars change but the color doesn't, is that right?

Sharp looking wagon!! How are you going to increase the power?

Before going any further, let me be polite:

Hi there Mrs. Melissen! Pleased to meet you!

Now lets look at the "company car".
The car looks in excellent shape! The color looked great on the Xantia, but it looks even better on the C5. The interior looks great too, and even the leather on the steering seems new. Near to white carpets always look dirty. (my father's car has the same problem) but still those look in good condition.

Smoke inside cars is awfull. Specially for the roof textiles. Changing air-conditioning filters might be a good idea too.

Congrats on the buy and i'm sure that it will make many, many miles with comfort and reliability, and be the perfect ladder-carrier.
It will also be a great transport for UCP main-page goods (Tour Auto included ).

Waiting for the news on the engine-management vitamines.

P.S.: Make sure the kid doesn't fool around too much.

That explains the fierce acceleration concern.

You not only have no idea of the value of cameras, as you have no idea of the value of cars or experience to know the moment when buying a car is a clever move. And who are we to question other member's priorities?

Congratulations and hope you enjoy it, but be careful with the "fierce acceleration"...
