That's pretty damn amazing. I pay over $1400 a year on a friggin' 2.0L Golf... Ick. Course, I've got 2 tickets for +18 and +17 miles an hour, so those don't help...

well, the 911 is pretty slow... 0-60 in like 8 seconds or something, and it only cost $12-13,000, so I guess they figure those two things together, and it might as well be an '87 corolla.

How much are you paying to insure the truck? My 06' is only about $80 a month.

You should invest in some sort of tune. Really, the truck is alot more capable of what it seems stock, but the PCM is holding it all back.

If a Hummer H2 can get 1 mpg when you put your foot down, since the Sierra/Yukon/Tahoe/Silverado has the same underpinnings as the H2, would your truck get 1 mpg if you put your foot down?
(i'm going to ignore aerodynamics)
Gas has actually not been bad. $60 every 3-4 weeks.

No, a Hummer is based on the 2500 HD frame which is 1,800 pounds heavier than a 1500, add to that that it's an SUV and you're looking at about 3,000 pounds of difference, it also has the 6.0L engine, heavier duty axles and transmission. I think my truck is like 4,800 pounds gross rating, the Hummer I wouldn't be surprised if it's over 8,000.

Sorry for the thread revival. I was teh uber boredz.
