Sierra

Bored, so I went to a parking lot behind some apartments and took pictures.

That's one damn good looking truck, if I may say so.

Set up my camera on a tripod, took the picture of it in the middle, moved it to the left, made sure it wasn't "overlapping" took a 2nd picture then did the same for the right. Got home, opened all the into one photoshop file and then simply erased the parts of each layer that were covering the car.

Short answer: Yes, PS.

I was wondering the same thing- but I'm not sure if the Sierra goes back further in GMC history than Ford's.

However, America seem to think that a clever American submarine deciphered the Enigma code, and that they also won the Battle of Britain- so best leave them to be a law unto themselves!

Nice truck, Colon. Drive here and give me a ride.

Well the Sierra was sold as a Merkur in North America, so I don't think Ford lincensed the name for the US. I don't know if the reason is because it had already been bought by GM, because they didn't want to for marketing reasons or because they couldn't be bothered.

My dad's engine is made by Cosworth.

Ferrer, probably couldn't be bothered. The GMC Sierra didn't exist (AFAIK) until about 1994. Before that, their pickups were called something like K-10's and stuff.

Ah, that's a truly British car (engineered in Germany)

Well, stereotypically British. I now have 4 1:43 scale models of it- a proper beast, that. Well, the RWD was a little trickier than the more civilised 4x4, but still...

Not only your car, but much before that Chevrolet made a rare version of the Vega with a 2-litre twin cam engine with 120bhp developed by Cosworth. It's said the prototypes produced up to 180bhp.
