Well I sold my 1998 Ford Explorer and im getting a 1987 Pontiac GTA Trans Am Sunday! Pretty good switch off right? Sucker is bad...New 350 V8, rebuilt auto trans, new rear end and anything and everything you can think of. Id have it tomorrow but the old starter busted up the fly wheel so they're gonna replace it over the weekend and then its mine...all mine! Ill have eggnog and pictures probably Monday after school.

Welcome to the UCP F-Body owners Club! If you ever feel the need to get rid of it, let me swap your L98 for my LB9 first

I'm also very curious to know if my 305 manual would be faster than your 350 auto...

Im pretty sure its not the L98 in there anymore, from what he's told me its a brand spanking new crate engine and of all the 350s out there i doubt he'd stick another L98 in it. Im very sure of it he also mentioned it doesnt have the TPI like the orig. did. As for the whos is faster, we'll just have to race someday as I dont plan on ever getting rid of it (hopefully)

No, what he needs is a Burt Reynolds mustache and a CB radio.

Ahh. If you have pretty much any crate in there you'll blow me away lol. The TPI really holds me back. Someday when I have more money I'm going to look into an LS engine or at least new induction+heads. So what kind of engine do you have in there? How much power?

Looks like the sort of car you could have a lot of fun in. Not very subtle though

Enjoy it.

Enjoy the car.

It looks mean.

Mind taking some under-hood shots? Nice car, man. Do you know what it runs in the quarter?

Thanks everyone, its a blast to drive. Just hearing it idle at stops is amazing...as for being subtle, its not. Ive already had a few people pull up and try to coax me into racing =P but i have no idea how it would do in the quarter. Ill take some under the hood shots tomorrow, i gotta work tonight.

It looks super clean and well done. My only complaint would be the spoiler. Is it a fourth gen spoiler? Whatever it is it kinda ruins the look of the car. But paint, interior, wheels and everything else looks great. Sounds like your 350 takes care of business too any chassis or brake work done on it? It probably should considering you've upped the stock power by around 80%
