Dude, it's a car from 1982.

And it was free.

If you desire for a beautiful interior, go fondle daddy's Audi.

that car is very clean, u checked under for cheeky rust patches???

get a decent exhaust and air filter will sound better, run better and you chud get better fuel economy.

the auto stick is pimpin though haha. if you change to a manual box you have to make the lever into a pimp cane haha. have fun and keep us up to date

Theres a little rust in the engine bay and in the battery pan. Haven't had a good look under the car but I might get around to that sometime.

Air filter and exhaust are both on the list, but only just getting a job so moneys still not rolling in yet!

And fluffy dice? Only if you're paying for them David!

Go to any car parts store or one that sells car cleaning products, there are plenty of good wheel cleaners on the market. My personal preference is for Meguiar's products.

DON'T try using stuff like washing powder - it may make the wheel nice and shiny, but it'll also eat away at the finish.

Judicious application of cutting paste should do the trick for wheel paint.
{edit} on 2nd thought the cutter might be too savage for that OE type of 'frosted' paint, so instead attack your wheels with a dedicated spray-on (eg Michelin wheel & tyre cleaner works good) and a stiff nylon brush (pinch Mum's dishbrush to save money)

Use Dad's denture paste or some regular toothpaste for the chrome dress rims - another $$ saver!

Best to mask off the rubber (tyre & valve) beforehand

Finally taken it for a drive, its got a lovely smooth ride, if a bit soft so cornering isn't much. Bit of an old barge really!
