Finally, a car to call my own..

Call into nana's yesterday, and a bit of a surprise waiting for me...

with her and my grand-dad buying a new car, their old one didn't really have much use to them anymore...

so they've decided to give it to me!

Here she is, a 1983 Mitsubishi Sigma SE 2.0l. RWD, mint condition (or as close to it as you'll get for a 25 year old car) automatic (bad but can't complain since i'm getting it for free), and only 141,000km on the clock from brand new, which is pretty amazing.

I'm absolutely stoked to say the least!

As i was saying on MSN, Bloody straight body and paint, Really good find, and a plus is that its going to be reliable. My car is ten years younger and has almost twice the KM's.

Thats cool Spaz and congratulations - it'll probably be a good 1st car if you don't destroy it (like I did mine)

From the look of it I imagine its a jap-built unit and not from Tonsley Park?

It was bought brand new or close to it I think but thats all I know. Think it could be a jap built one though yeah.

Ah, I've seen many dodgy acts committed in Sigma's. They go quite sideways, quite easy.

we had those here, starting as the Galant, and a little bit later we got Sigmas two, even with a V6. The Galant was impressive because it was the first turbo diesel on the market...
