Dude, the interior literally falls off in your hands.

Goes like stink, tramlines and wanders like no ones business (you literally have to hold the wheel at probably 1/6th of a rotation to keep it straight), but the gearbox is sweet and pick up is instant and lovable.

Old bimmers definitely have presence. I wonder if we'll be able to say the same about the current 5er in like 20 years.

It's presence will more than likely be in Banger racers or Guy Ritchie Movies.

Daan, congratulations on owning that fantastic BMW. Why do you Dutch people always have the best cars?

Yes yes, we've covered this before.
She's running fine though, nary a problem right now, so once funds are permitting I'll get right onto the restoration.

Interior only has 2 door panels that aren't attached due to 20 year old glue, the rest is all intact...

The goes like stink bit is certainly true enough, and the tram-lining... err... prepares you for corners... yeah... that's it...

Mine holds it's own against a current 530i, and I'd like to think that it looks a heck of a lot better too.

993 and E34 is quite garage. And I'd certainly take an E34 over an E60.
