Newbie's cars

Yes, I'm of the older age group and my daily transport doesn't interest me. Here's the fun part though:-

Well, I am maybe of what you call the younger age, but still, this is in my opinion some of the most beautiful creations ever made... Do you race with any of them? Be sure to post some more photos for us!

stunning collection. 2 D-Types is quite a feat. Thank you for posting these here, and the others in the other threads; please continue to post pics up.

and feel free to use the forum upload and attachment tool. unlike other forums we actually prefer pics to be uploaded here.

Both are Lynx D types, one (Ecurie Ecosse blue) a long nose and the other a short nose. The difference is a 3.8 litre engine in the long nose and a changed body for higher top speed. However, the short nose is much modified and puts out 325bhp and 412 lb/ft of torque at 3,770 rpm so is quite dangerous in the wet. I've spun the rear wheels in third! The E type is a flat floor I've had 28 years and which has seen 22 countries and 200,000 kms in my ownership.

Look at the flag!
Amazing cars lowdrag.

Daily transport would seem dull having these cars in your garage

Very nice

I've never been a huge fan of the E-Type (but of course I like it), the D-Types on the other hand are wonderfull. Welcome and happy motoring!
