sounds like a great idea, you should think about limiting the amount of catagories too.

Yeah, I know.. I'll limit them once I have all the possible categories in. There'll be a final list by the end of today.

i think cotterik has photographer in the bag, with me running a close 23rd.

i look forward to this, how is the voting going to work, people nominate someone other than themselves for each category then a thread for each category is made to vote in?

Maybe if Wouter would be in a giving mood he could grant me a sub-category for a day where I can make a thread for each category containing a poll?

That's what I think would be best.

1st nominations, then a poll for the nominations.

That's where the subcategory comes in. I'm gonna have to find a way to organize the polls rather than throwing them in miscellaneous.

Hold nominations for each award for about a week then create a poll

I would need Wouter's permission. If I could get a subforum in the Website Discussions for 1 day it'd be perfect, but if it's not in Wouter's best interest it's not happening and we'll just do informal voting.

Be prepared for "somone" to ask for 100% evidence and proof that they should be awarded with what they get and then to blame the UN for it and then say it was better in the 1960s and then ..... to whinge
