The Howmet TX

It looks like a racecar. Will it be eventually placed under racecars?

Also, I do believe the 300SL was used in racing. Could it be listed under Other Sportscars?

Just for your info this particular type of 300 SL wasnt used in racing (at least officially entered by the factory). The car featured here is the road version derived from the racing version which won La Carrera Panamericana in 1952 if I'm not mistaken. Incindentally the race cars were less powerful than the road cars.

there was a 300 SL at the LeMans Classic, which did put down some decent lap times. It was actually the first time I saw a gullwing doing really well on a track.

I think he is in the right forum with his question. If you go to the main page and click on "cars" you will find a section on racing cars with a subsection "other sportscars". It should have been listed there.
