Just a Thought
I suggest that mods be allowed to remove posts made in the middle of a large press release (etc) type post (such as the recent new BMW X5 one). What I mean is, posts that people make like "sweet pix n info kthxbye" halfway through a larger series of posts, it ruins the flow for continuous reading.

Instead I feel that people should wait to post on the info posted before discussing the topic otherwise the post gets deleted. Keeps it cleaner in my opinion, just a thought.

Agreed, I don't see why it's so difficult to wait a couple of minutes before posting.

Well, in case of the X5 (or other ususal suspects) such annoucements cannot be soon enough interrupted by an inquisitive post...

It may take upwards of 30 minutes to post a large press release with pictures, especially for someone with a slow connection. Why not the poster reserve the first 5 or so spots then no one could prematurely eject a pearl of wisdom or ruin the flow with jabber. Once complete, the extra place holder posts can be deleted.

I like perfadv's reserved post idea. That can work best, reserve as many as you like and any extra posts can be easily deleted.
