Hi DarkPhenix, have you thought about the points I'd raised ?

My concern guys is that MSN offers all the forum and chat features here in UCP.
So there will inevitably be a dilution of posting and discussion here.
I don't like that for 2 reasons.
1. This is the best forum I've been in for cars.
2. Wouter funds this by the links we click.

So, if we're over in MSN he gets less chance of funding the site.
That could lead to it's closure.

I thought this started as a desire for a chat room.
There was another link which was a java-based chat facility and nothing more.
I thought it a better fit.

Just want to make sure we think through the consequences and outcomes of our actsion before all heading over.

Besides, here we fund Wouter, over there we fund Bill Gates !!!

I've got 3 questions for you:
- why do you want a community of a community? (is this question difficult to understand? then I know enough)
- why do you use SUCH a MAJOR crappy thing as MSN groups?
- if you have the need for extra features, tell us what features do you like to see on UCP.com? (through this forum or the contactform)

We all think a live chat room would be a plus for the site.
A couple of members have set up chat capabilities for us to try.
MSN is the most publicised.
Please get us chat capability off the UCP servers or have a link to a chat server for everyone to 'talk live'.

i wasn't aware, that going to the chat could end UCP if wouter gets less funding , i know i joined the chat, but i won't be going there ever again , it easier to just chat here on UCP, and that way UCP will be here for a longer time, where i hope to learn more about cars, and make friends in doing so
