I think you are being way too specific there.
Any chance you could be a tiny bit more vague?

youve got to be kidding me?!! wtf!

you just highlight the photo, hit ctrl+c and then open up word and hit ctrl+v.

or if you want it in photoshop or paint, right click, click save picture as then save it onto your system, you don't just copy and paste it onto your program. man you muts of just got your first pc, right?

hmm...
i agree with karrmann (for the 1st time)
if u want to copy text, highlight and ctrl+c, open word or sumthing and Ctrl+V
if u want to copy images, right click, save image as
or right click image, copy, and in ps or paint go to edit and paste.

if thats not it, plz tell me wut ur trying to say. :S :S

To 'paste' or insert images in a thread, click on the Go Advanced button in the Quick Reply area. Underneath the Reply to Thread area you'll see Additional Options, use Manage Attachments to add pics to your post.

*My question, how do you insert a pic directly into the post not as a thumbnail?

WWHHHhahhhahahahah.....this should be in the jokes section man! Good one! LOL!!

Seriously, if you want to post an image in the thread without the thumbnail thigie, you'll have to have a place to host that image first, then link it to this post.

lol that took me a while to figure out, so u mean u want to post pics in actual size rather than lil thumbnails? like the ones in chop comps? after u attach ur files, open the pic and copy the URL, then go back to ur reply, and click on the little box with the moutain. and paste the url in there.

But please refrain from doing this if possible.
The purpose of the attachments is to keep load time low for dial-up users.
Embedded images waste a LOT of time for dial-up users.
Using attachments lets everyoen see the images and CHOOSE if they want to see the higher detail.

right click the image, select 'properties.' highlight and copy the image url. Then place it between tags like so . It's preferred you use attachments.

Totally agree. I just wanted to know how its done. I have dial-up and wish other than the chops forum ppl wouldn't use embedded images.
