interesting race going on
When I am writing this forum member #8900 has not registered. At the same time the number of threads now stands at 9064. So what will reach 10000 first?
As a side line, since just over two months ago the rep system disappeared the number of forum members stood at about 6000. This may be an indication that having a rep system provides something as a threshold preventing new members to enter. Therefore the discontinuing of rep seems to have worked well.

This is true,although you(UPC Staff) have been fiddling round with the front page making it more obvious that you can join up to the forums, that has probabaly got something to do wiht it as well
