When did any body say that the Seat was trying to be the Bugatti? Never, they simply said it looks similar, which it undeniably does. Of course it does not have the power of the bugatti, why should it? The bugatti is an outrageously pointless car. the seat is made for a reason. To race. That is it, that is the point. Talk about "Auto Emocion" WOW what a car, now is when I am glad I work for Seat.
Its half the car the Bugatti is

I was looking at the stats and the Seat Cupra is half the car in many ways. First horse power Bugatti 1001 and the Cupra only 500. Second top speed how about 252.3 to only 183.3 it's kind of sad isn't it. Third engine Bugatti has a nice 487 cu in W16 to the Cupra's 182cu in V6. And last well at least the last one that I will mention drive tran Bugatti is all wheel drive Cupra rear wheel drive. So as you can see the Cupra is really half the car that the Bugatti is.

Your right sindbad, The Cupra does look a lot like the Bugatti Veyron. I never thought about it until now. If you look at it there isn't a big difference in them at all. Thanks
 It's a RACE CAR

It seems some of the comments people have made sound as if this were a roadgoing sports car concept. It is a GT racer and not a road car and it will not be mass produced, it will be built to order as most buyable race cars are.
 Excellent job Seat.

this is a great GT car. Seat has done a very good job. I like the engine. Interesting thinh is that this car accelerates as fast as the new Brabus E V12, in 4.10 sec. however this car is lighter than Brabus. Seat realy has greta cars. Small fast. Wonderfull job. Go Seat!

I agree with you both in most of your points. Stunning car, surprising enough from Seat, although if I think about their obvious association to VW, it was kind of predictable. I also doubt it that it would make it to mass production in the same wild outfit and performance configuration. Is it only me or is it really does resemble the Bugatti Veyron?

This is a real nice car, but I don't think that it is going to catch on. Car companys are always coming out with super cool cars that have no chance of being able to be mass produced. And the few if any that are made are not just super cool but also super expencive. But this is still a really cool car.
 Nice, nice... Nice * 10...

Wow, kind of a surprise from Seat... I love it! It blends design elements perfectly! After numerous disappointments in the supercar arena, I am glad to say that this is one gladiator that stands out. There are some better and some worse designs, but this needs some commendation. Now, how about a street version (this one is kinda GT-ish, Race-ish)? Maybe a roadster?
