The Type 59/50 was the last Grand Prix car Bugatti built on the pre-war era but no the last ever, as bugatti man pointed out. That goes to the Type 251, of which the two beautiful units have raced the 1956 Grand Prix de l'ACF Reims, having been still preceded by 5 Type 73s on the 40s. |

The writer of this article obviously did not see the race in question.If he had,he would have seen the penultimate Grand Prix Bugatti [ T73c ] behind the T50B III.Which brings us to the Actual last GP Bugatti the 1955 T251. |
