The vehicle styling of the sporty two-door coupe was developed by the Italian design firm Pininfarina. The powerful 1.8 litre Turbo-charged engine was independently developed by the Chinese manufacturer. Right now the BC3 is a show car, but the introduction to the European market is expected by the end of the year.

With the BC3, the manufacturer is expanding its product selection - which consists of the BS6 and BS4 sedans - by a sporty model. The powerful engine and dynamic design of the coupe guarantee indi-viduality and make it fun to drive. Brilliance has developed a com-prehensive equipment package for the new model, which turns the Chinese coupe into a sporty powerhouse.

Brilliance has given the 4.48 meter long, 1.81 meter wide, and 1.39 meter tall coupe a very individual and dynamic look. From the front, the sporty Chinese stands low and wide on its 18-inch aluminium wheels. The long hood and the clear glass headlights which extend far into the side panels are especially distinctive. The deep front spoiler makes the BC3 appear even wider and lower.

The side view, which is typical for a coupe, underlines the powerful character of the BC3. It is dominated by a long wheelbase, the pas-senger compartment which is set far to the rear with strongly angled A-columns, low windows, and the roof line which gently slopes to the rear. The design of the two-door coupe is rounded out by taillights that wrap far around the corners and give it a dynamic-sporty ap-pearance from the rear.

The BC3 has the first engine that was independently developed by Brilliance - a 1.8 litre Turbo with maximum torque of 235 Nm and an output of 125 kW (170 HP). It handles the sprint from 0 to 100 in 9.7 seconds and tops out at 220 km/h. There is a choice of a five-speed manual or an automatic transmission. The precisely-tuned chassis meets the requirements of sporty drivers. The gasoline engine com-plies with the Euro 4 emissions standards.

The standard equipment of the BC3 includes metallic paint and sporty 18-inch alloy wheels. In the cockpit, chromed instruments pro-vide the driver with essential information. Black surfaces with red accents and a technological appearance emphasize the dynamic ambience in conjunction with the leather sport seats which are also black and red. The driver's seat provides good sideways support; it is adjustable six ways and thus ensures optimal seating comfort. The driver and passenger seats also leave sufficient space and leg room for the passengers in the back. Power steering is standard, and so is automatic climate control, a power sunroof, power win-dows, and a CD sound station with high-quality speakers.

The safety and comfort equipment is rounded out by front and side airbags, three-point seatbelts with pretensioners, and ABS. In addi-tion, the coupe is equipped with electronic brake boosters, an elec-tronic differential lock, and disc brakes; it promises sporty driving pleasure.
