Chassis:
Following its brief but successful racing career, the one-off 935 JLP-4 eventually passed into the ownership of a lawyer. He in turn entrusted the car to the Petersen Museum where it was on display for several years during the 1980s and 1990s. During the late 1990s, it was sold on and restored to full running order. It was then entered at one of the Rennsport Reunions where it was reunited with John Paul Jr., who got the chance to drive the car again. In more recent years it, along with an incredible amount of spares and moulds, was acquired by an Italian enthusiast. He brought the car to the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, not only to showcase this unique machine but also to raise awareness for Huntington's Disease from which John Paul Jr. is sadly suffering. He is also the patron of the Huntingdon's Disease Fund, more information on which can be found at www.johnpauljrhd.com. At the Festival of Speed the driving duties were shared by the owner and John Fitzpatrick, who had raced against JLP-4 in period with one of the Kremer 935 K4s.
