Between the German and Italian Grands Prix, chassis B192-06 was the spare in Hungary and later served as a T-car for three further Grands Prix. Benetton retained this car for several years before it was sold on to British historic racer Matthew Mortlock. He campaigned the car in the BOSS series and thens sold it on to a French enthusiast in 2010. It changed hands again in 2017 before it was consigned to the 2019 RM Sotheby's Abu Dhabi sale. On the button, it is fitted with a correct Ford Cosworth HB engine and a fully functional six-speed sequential gearbox.
