| Originally formed in 1921 under the name Chalmer & Hoyer, the Hoyal Bodybuilding Company was sold once and renamed twice before the name Hoyal was chosen in 1928. As Chalmer and Hoyer, it was the first company in Englend to use the Weymann patents for coachbuilding. Specialized primarily in bodying small British sportscars. |
