| What next? |

I have had vauxhalls for the last 10 years - nova, astra, calibra, now I love my 888! It has everything anyone could want in this price range, it's quick, eyecatching enough to be different (people have stopped at traffic lights and wound window down to ask what it is!), well tooled up and fun to drive. But as with all cars it is getting older and losing its value. What can vauxhall replace it with? Yes the new Astra VXR is quick, but I'm feel the interior lets it down somewhat (the 888 Sparco seats are great) and it isn't as 'different' looking as the 888, it's very much a sporthatch. The Monaro is very capable, and 'different' but is a lot more expensive and thirsty! Is there another race-bred astra on the way to follow in the footsteps of the 888, or have we to make do with the VXR? Or am I being a little harsh? |

Exactly as he said...Except we now need an Astra Mk6 Coupe, the styling of which i'd like to see judging by the new VXR Astra. Through the Astra range there's something for everyone, from the diesel hatchbacks to the turbo convertible and none of them look like cheap adaptations. The smooth bumpers and sides of the coupe (styled by Bertone) really give it a look to follow up the Calibra, one of the best looking mass production cars of the late 80s |

Like it's predecessor and Brother, Calibra Super Touring and the Vectra Super Touring this Vauxhall tells only one of the chapters of Vauxhall and Opel's amazing Motorsport history. This is one of the Limited Editions that trully is and awsome Road going Touring Car |
