Hogger |

Personally I think they would make a fortune using halo as a front for hogger advertisements. I'm ready to buy the thing, I just want to know when were and how much. I would be really bummed if this didn't sell in U.S. soon. But when it does i guarantee you I want to be on the top of the List. =) |
Gah |

This car was created long before Halo came out... So maybe it's the other way around? |

beserk motorhead |

Motorhead's comment once more shows that (most of the time)he has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. Peugeot (PSA) together with Ford Europe have taken the global lead in diesel technology, and even his beloved audi's are fitted with diesel engines that are superior to their gasoline brethren albeit fitted with the more noisy pump jet system. So do not call it a beserk company, it makes you look so silly. Furthermore I would have liked to invite you for a ride in my PSA HDI-engined car, but the prospect of you farting in my car scares my off. |
Definately not compareable to hummer. |
Uni-Murph 6-3-2003 |
this car?... truck?... mars rover?, could be more easly compared to a dune buggy than to the hummer. shure it has power galore, but so far as utility...well, its sketchy. i dont have many good things to say about american carmakers (with the exception of chevy) but i will say this: THEY KNOW HOW TO MAKE TRUCKS!! lets face it, this thing looks sleek and sporty, but i'd love to see it try to go through a mertre of mud. if it isn't to scared to get its paint dirty that is. europeans might rule the WRC, but as a general rule of thumb, they can't make a USEFUL truck or sport-ute worth a s*%@. EX:Cayenne, X5, LR Discovery. stick with the sports cars and let the yanky hicks take care of trucks. PS: what the hell was Porshe thinking with the Cayenne. |
very beserked company |

I say peugoet is strange because normally petrol engines should be better but in their case their diesel engine are much better and much more refined than their petrol engines. Their diesels also have very good reliability and they do not give problems ultil you have travelled about 3 times around the world. Their engines are also very quiet. They are so quiet that i dod not actually now that the engine was on when i was close to it but i felt the heat and then looked at the rpm and the enigine was on. Facinating. I think if you are travelling you can even hear someone fart clearly in the car because it is that quiet. |
2*180 |

Actually the indicated horsepower has to be multiplied by two, so the Hoggar (yes, diesel powered) is about twice as powerful as the Hummer. Apart from the powertrain however this car is totally ridiculous and a waste of time unless Peugeot is preparing an entry for the Paris Dakar, (formerly the playground of the Citroen ZX Rallye Raid), now that their WRC activities are also being frustrated by its sistermarque. It should be noted that this year's edition of the PD saw the (diesel powered) volkswagen buggy finish sixth or so, to become the highest placed diesel car ever. |

I've always been a fan of Peugeot, eagerly awaiting every new release. and they haven't disapointed me this time either. I not sure if I would compare this to hummer, tho', they are both off-road vehicles, but the ideologies are different. Personaly, Hoggar rules for me, but I'm sure some people will like H1 more. Now if we could just get AWD 206, life would be sweet. (Especially if they would start importing peugeot to Canada again. I want to go back to Europe!) |
Better Than a Hummer |
ds_carfan 3-3-2003 |
Yes! This is everything any teen could ever hope for! i love it. This Hoggar is simply irrisistable, and better than America's own Hummer H1. With more overall power (180hp, 590lb-ft vs. 195hp, 430lb-ft) than a H1, and much less weight, this is my dream car. Not only is the power better, but lets think of some other stuff that makes it a better car: More Refined, More room, More Aerodynamic, and that sweet European feel around the track, on and off. Please send us a few copies of this sweet machine. |
