so, im getting one for christmas/chanuka. the only thing i cannot decide is whether to get the regular silver-bodied version or the new black-bodied one. heres a link to that one:

thats the Japan version and the US version is available now without the "Kiss" labeling.
so what do you guys think. also if there is another Digital SLR that you think i should consider as well, for about the same price (dont say 20D, if i had that kinda money id buy it) then please let me know. i have also looked at the Nikon D70, and although it seems to be slightly better, i am familiar with canons and plan on upgrading to the 20D or other new models in later years, so i would like to stay in the brand. but lemme know if i hsould check sumthin else out
