As of now, when would you consider to be the greatest age of cars? or, even more specifically, when for each country, or even each manufacturer.

I think now, these days our world is extremly techno-advanced and it rubs off majorly on cars. Currently, almost every aspect of the car runs through at least one computer system before it hits the tires.

cars get better everyday, certainly the averager everyday cars from 30 years ago look terrible and underpowered now but they were the best the manufacturers could do then and in 30 years we'll look at todays cars and probably think the same thing.

I think now, these days our world is extremly techno-advanced and it rubs off majorly on cars. Currently, almost every aspect of the car runs through at least one computer system before it hits the tires.

Which is why they are so good.

They are very well engineered, and despite people complaining about unreliable electronics, they are more reliable than older cars.

They are more efficient, safer, more comfortable, offer more in the way of handy gadgets - sat-nav, CD players, trip computers. A decade ago you'd have been lucky to find them on a top of the range Mercedes Benz, now you can get them on things like the Fiat Panda.

Also most of them seem to perform and handle better.

There are no bad cars any more, just good and indifferent ones.
