When suddenly I saw a........mint condition 1955 Porsche 356 Speedster, cruising along in my small (14,000 people) town!
I was amazed.
I'm pretty certain it wasn't a replica aswell, the personalised plate said 55 356, and it looked exactly right.

well , there is one in the place of my school.i saw it a couple of times in the last few weeks.one time i was carrying a camera .... but the batteries were empty, so it was useless... this one is grey metalic, with red leather interior

in australia there is a royal blue 550 spyder that was one serial number away from jame dean's car, i saw it in excellence (porsche magazine) and i also saw in excellence this ex dick barbour 356 in excellence, then i went to a vintage race in washington and i saw the 356!!!!! it was so gorgeous

i saw the 356 when it was at the gasstation.offcourse it took a long time to get home that day.. i was almost 20 mins later as usual... i am not sure whether it is a replica or not, but i think its an original.

Funny you should say that .. the other day I was stuck behind a whole 356 owners club .. beautiful until we hit the traffic jams! Didnt count how many there were but there were over 8 .. one looked like a Speedster, and one of them was a replica (Chesil). The rest were authentic though.
I saw one of them, but coventry_sucks said it would probably be a replica :(
