these are very old, ive seen them atleast a year and a half ago already.
in road and track(?) this past month they had a peice on it testing at the ring. the basic shape is the same as these drawings. apparently itll have a V10 (since toyota is now in F1) in the front (behind the wheels though) and the transmission in the rear. similar layout to the F612.

hopefully itll look like the classic celica 2000GT seen in one of the bond flicks.
i think theyre going for an updated version of that model.

Just 2000GT, not Celica 2000GT. :)

urghh, dont like the look of that very much. The back end is alright, but rather aston looking, and the front just mings. The Nurburgring(sic) pics look as if it could be better, but not by much

I agree, not very good looking. It seems they tried to "europeanize" it, and went a little overboard.

Hopefully those are just concepts and not finalized products.

Back is an Aston, side is a Bangle Beemer, front is a Kia.

Change the front and i'd love it!

From the first pics, at certain angles, the car sort of resembles an aston martin vanquish. I think that they should let the supra rest in peace as the old one, along with the nissan skyline and mazda rx7, are the performance icons of the japanese motor industry!?

I can't believe it. When was the last time they made a Supra? I just can't believe that they took that many years. For now, the Honda NSX-R rules Japan as a production car. Toyota had been working on those slow city cars, so I don't expect any better on the new Supra. By the way, speaking of Japanese cars, everybody seems to ignore the great Tommykaira ZZ II even though that's what a real sports car is like. New sports car are having worse designs than they used to be, RX-8 isn't as good as the RX-7, the new GT-R Concept doesn't look like what the GT-R series had been for years, the Mitsubishi Evolution 8 aren't as good looking as the good old Evolution 6, only Honda and Subaru managed to keep their very own style which they had been with for over a decade

if a new supra comes out its going to be like the GTO. all these fans screaming 'noooooo it doesn't look like the old supra!'
or
'its lost the...um ....essence.' :)

I sure don't ignore that car. That's my favorite jap car ever! But what happened to it, it's hard to get any info on it. Is it still produced today?
