A BIG BIG round of applause to Wouter for his awesome work on the 250GTO information! Those pics kick ass!

I could give Enzo himself a lecture now on 250GTO's! :D

Ive always loved the 250 and most other car sites seem to just include a basic specification without any historic info .. thankfully this isnt one of those sites. Those pictures are to die for. Keep up the good work.

What are all of you talking about?

this is what they're talking about: http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/frame.php?file=car.php&carnum=134

and yes, we've shot 23 of the 36 GTOs built. i shot 18 of them in Monterey this past summer. 16 of which raced at the Monterey Historics. Quite a few of them originate or travelled through Europe as well, where Wouter shot some of the same chassis as i did. Wouter has several hundred 250 GTO shots in total, and had trouble working that down to 60 pics to post. there is at least one of every chassis we've seen, displayed in that gallery.

glad you're all enjoying the update. Wouter and I loved shootin them. With Cavallino Classic coming up, as well as the many, many shows we're intending on covering in 2005, there should be more of these extensive updates in the future.

me being the pedantic ass that I am here is one chassis that has not been before the digital UCP camera's. Here is the UDT Laystall GTO, that is remarkable because it is the only one that still has the original small air intakes in the bonnet. It is chassis 3505 GT.
Behind it is the famous Rob Walker 250 SWB, that was regularly driven by Stirling Moss, and which was one of his favourite cars, because he could listen to the radio.
