stop sign software www.stopsign.com is a big sham!!
tehy claim to give away free antivirus, spam blocker, pop up blocker, and adware bloker, well THEY ARE JUST INFECTING YOUR CPU!!!!!!
IT IS A CPU KILLER!!!!
I got over 100 adware files from them and then they all got deleted by adaware and spybot sd, the software was deleated and the icons sent to the recycle bin, problem solved right, NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now Norton is blocking my internet access because it is acting like i'm infected with a Virus. more info in the thread urgant help needed.
but the point is DONT DOWNLOAD STOP SIGN!!! ANd IF YOU HAVE IT GET RID OF IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!

They have a phone number and address - something not usually offered by scammers

Not taking the piss but some people are really quite thick :D . Yes, a link to a website is really going to give you large amounts of adware. As Karrman had to say TWO fu*king times .. you have to download it to get the adware .. I have a right mind to go and threaten you with a BUNCH OF LOGANBERRIES .. A WHOLE BUNCH!
Not all Adware is particularly life devastating .. Kazaa installs excessive amounts of spyware/adware and barely affects your CPU .. and this includes Lite. But the quantity this program has come up with is insane .. sure all of it is from this program? If so, run away, run away. Or format your hard drive and install XP with SP2 .. their firewall might not be the best but its convieniently displayed in your taskbar :D
