I got a signed copy for Christmas, sofa king brilliant it is.

It is the original GTR prototype which was swapped for a McLaren M15 with Ron Dennis.

It was made road legal with the addition of a reversing light, silencer, cats, a horn and raod tyres, but aside from that it is very much a racer with straight cut gears and all the funky electronics in the cockpit.

Signed book order form. (http://www.brain-damage.co.uk/news/0412141.html)

Amazon are shipping the book just as quickly as they are getting stocks in - it is selling very well indeed! Helped, we guess, with them at time of writing offering a huge 40% discount on the book with free shipping, in some countries! It can be ordered through these special links: UK/Elsewhere, Canada, France, Germany, or USA (this edition out April 2005)!

He is also the owner of Ten Tenths who supply cars for film and TV.

They have access to thousands of cars, bikes, boats, helicopers and planes.

That's about as close to a perfect life as you can get.

That the book with the CD of the sounds?.....The BRM V16 Mk II is one amazing car to listen to...Play loud (read, as loud as you dare go) and on Surround sound for best effects.
All other cars in the book are recorded as a Standing Start and a fly-by at Silverstone. Due to the BRM being an amazingly complex car (It's a V16 Motor but the pistons in the engine are only the size of a piston in a Motor Mower) it was recorded at Donington (Short course I think) for the WHOLE 2 LAPS. Very, very cool.
Oh, and all the cars in the book "Into the Red", Nick Mason own's.

Nick Mason is my idol. Drummer for a drak, progressive classic rock band who owns more than his share of classic and modern exotic cars! :D
