isa there a way to tell how many posts a day you make, like today ive made so many, and yesterday so many, and so on, not just the average, i know how to get that, like to day i think ive made 58 but im not sure, something like taht

yeah, go to your own public profile. it says there, and you can do the same for everyone else. just click your name, then "view public profile".
EDIT: only shows average number of posts per day tho. but if you post alot, it can go up pretty fast.

It'll only go up fast if your a new member. I could make 200 posts today but my average wouldnt budge cause a) ive been here since April 03 an b) my average isnt that sabby on a normal day to begin with

my post count average actually has had some serious fluctuations. if i find a few good threads to talk in, i can up my post count by sometimes a full post-a-day, once i got it up by 2, and that was like a week and some before new years. but, you fpv, of course, with 10 kajillion posts, cannot have that :p

your averaging at 10 posts a day. 10.3 to be exact.

yeah but maybe a mod should set up a section that shows number of posts for the day, and previous days?

Could you imagine the extra spamming going on with that though.......Some people have suggested it'll increased if there was mor member titles after senior member made

sounds very work intensive to me.......making post-count histories.......also it would take up alot of room, room we need for threads. there are over 10,000 members to ucp, each one of them needing that for every day they have been a member? which gives me a good idea........maybe if members arent active for a year, or 6 months, they should be just be kicked, there are literally thousands of them. and if they want to keep their post counts or w/e, they can tell a mod they will be back, and to basically........i guess technologically it would be temporary banning, but they could think of a nicer name for it :p

I think their records would still have to be kept on a database of some sort though

probably......but when you take even just 1 line of info for every day a person is a member? thats something like 11k lines of info already right there. but lets say 3 thousand people have been here for a year. thats 1085,000 lines of info. it gets to a huuuuuge number really fast, and it still has to organize it onto those lines, no matter what. technically it could be done, but there are too many people here who just make accounts and never sign on again.

Why is this so important? I don't get it.

well you could go into your own public profile and look at all the posts that say Today on them and count them.

If it matters that much to you, you could get a pen and a scrap of paper, then make a mark when you post.

At the end of the day you'd have a permenant record of how many posts you achieved. ;)
